Course in special make-up

Overview

Through constant practice in the workshop, the Special make-up course enables students to learn all the techniques necessary for the creation of special make-up effects required in the many sectors of show business, from cinema to television, from musical theatre to drama. The technical-artistic coordination is entrusted to Roberto Mestroni.

Great attention is paid to the initial design phase, which is deepened thanks to the basic and general culture subjects, through which you will learn how to conduct effective bibliographic and iconographic research, you will learn drawing techniques and moodboard creation and the study of facial anatomy.

Through constant practice in the workshop conducted under the supervision of the lecturers, you will then learn the most correct methods for the preparation and use of materials and acquire highly specialised and complex techniques of sculpting, modelling, colouring and application of prosthetics.
