    The Management Department trains and specialises professionals working in the organisational, administrative and managerial fields of the performing arts.

    Course in stage management

    Admission requirements
    • Age between 18 and 35 years old on date of admissions test (see Selection Process, below)
    • Fluency in Italian
    • Three-year university degree, high school diploma, vocational school diploma, or equivalent studies and/or experience in the performing arts

    Course in stage direction

    Admission requirements
    • Legal age on date of selection test
    • Bachelor's degree or possession of at least a second-cycle educational qualification (professional diploma or upper secondary school diploma) and certifications and other study courses related to the performing arts sector and/or basic experience in the sector
    • Mother tongue or excellent knowledge of the Italian language

    Global master in performing arts management

    Prerequisites
    • Candidates with a B.A. or equivalent who wish to pursue a career in the performing arts or cultural sector
    • Candidates with formal music, arts or dance education who wish to acquire managerial and organisational skills
    • Candidates without a formal degree who have a minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience in any field and wish to pursue a career change. General knowledge of the non-profit sector would be advantageous
    • The age limit for admission to the Master 4. is 35 years old

    The Master is aimed at professionals and consultants who operate in the cultural sector, or in general in the third sector, and at anyone interested in learning more about strategies and acquiring tools in the field of sponsorship and fundraising for art and entertainment.

    The workshop is aimed at those who have a strong interest in learning the strategies and techniques of producing live shows and is offered to potential participants both as a preparatory experience for further managerial learning phases and as an opportunity for in-depth study on the method of Teatro alla Scala. Specific experience in the sector is not required for participation.

    The Theater is one of the locations of the course. Students have the opportunity not only to attend rehearsals and shows, but also to be placed on internships in work teams, thus experiencing one of the most historic and technologically advanced stages in the world.

    PLACEMENT

    One year after the end of the courses at the Academy, approximately 90% of graduates are employed in the live entertainment sector, in Italy and abroad.
