Under the scientific coordination of Marco Monzini, a collaborating director at La Scala, the course prepares you for the role of assistant director in opera, ballet and drama productions. You will acquire technical, cultural, organisational and relational skills to work in national and international contexts.
The strong point of the teaching programme is the close connection with La Scala and the Piccolo Teatro di Milano. The connection between theory and practical activities gives you the opportunity to constantly experiment in the field what you have learnt in the classroom, following all the phases of the performances and learning to relate to professional figures who use different languages.
The training is completed by an internship, during which you will work alongside assistant directors in the management of performances.
The course trains a professional capable of filling the role of assistant director in national and international contexts for opera, ballet, concerts and drama.
